PAYMENT

  • Deposit: To secure all appointments, a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of 50% of the total service cost is required for reservations. This deposit will be applied towards services on the day of your appointment. Your appointment is considered reserved only upon a signed contract and receipt of a deposit.

  • Tips: are greatly appreciated but not required. Tips can be given directly to artists, or through Misfit Beauty's payment system. All extra payment will be received as tips to the attending artist(s), unless the amount is noted.

  • Final payment: Is due the day of or after the appointment/event. Any reimbursements, additional services, or extra charges will be processed on or after the day of the appointment/event.

CANCELLATIONS & FEES

  • Trials: If you are unsure about placing a deposit without a trial, it is advisable to schedule your trial as soon as possible. Please note that your date will not be reserved without a deposit for total services, which may lead to another booking or a different artist prior to the trial.

  • Travel Fee: The travel fee will still be charged if the artist arrives at the location by the scheduled start time without prior notice of cancellation.

  • Artist Cancellation: If the artist cancels or is unable to perform their duties, 100% of the deposit will be refunded.

  • Contract (3 day Grace Period): Once a deposit has been submitted, the 3-day grace period begins. After this period, refunds will not be issued. Clients are responsible for honoring scheduled bookings.

  • Party Cancellations (7 Day Grace Period): Artists accept bookings based on volume for the committed date. After the grace period, any canceled bookings will incur a $60 fee to compensate the artist for their reserved pay and a continued commitment to the booking date. We understand changes may happen and aim to provide fair options for both our clients and artists in unforeseen circumstances. We strongly encourage finding a replacement to avoid this fee.

  • All-inclusive Packages and Duo Services: These packages are discounted with no exclusions. Cancellations after the grace period will result in the package reverting to individual service rates for all parties, resulting in a higher service costs.

ADDITIONAL FEES

  • Travel Fee: A base rate of $20 applies to locations within 10 miles. For distances exceeding 10 miles, there is an additional charge of $0.75 per mile roundtrip. The total travel fee will be determined upon inquiry. Travel fees are applicable for additional artists.

  • Early Bird Fee: An extra charge of $40 per hour is applicable to appointments scheduled before 7 am.

  • Parking Fee: Any parking, valet, or toll fees may be incurred. The total amount will be included in the final bill and is due for payment on the day of the event. This fee also applies to additional artists hired.

  • Late Fee: Due to client delays, A fee of $30 will be charged for every 20 minutes of delay if any services are yet to begin.

  • Final Payment Late Fee: A late fee of $50 per day will apply after the 7-day grace period has lapsed. If payment is still not received, it will result in the accumulation of fees starting at the duration of the due date.

  • Additional Services: All last-minute additional services are chargeable, regardless of timing or complexity.

  • Last-Minute Artist (Add On): If your wedding timing/schedule changes after contract signing, a $75 fee will be applied to secure an artist within 2 weeks, this fee reflects the limited availability and the resources needed for last minute arrangements. This is a seperate fee and does not apply to their travel fee.

SANITATION

All brushes, tools, and makeup products are meticulously sanitized before every makeup application. We exclusively use hypoallergenic makeup products. If you have any allergies, skin conditions, or illnesses that might impact makeup application or the well-being of the service provider or associates, kindly inform the service provider before the application. If needed, a sample makeup test may be conducted on your skin to check for any adverse reactions.

USE OF IMAGES

If approved, your photos and videos may be utilized for promotional purposes on various social media platforms, such as but not limited to Instagram and Facebook. The client also agrees to have their name and identity included in these social materials.

NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY

We do not tolerate discrimination based on race, sex, or gender orientation. All interactions and services provided are free from any form of discrimination. We uphold equal respect and treatment for all individuals.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED

All services are considered final upon completion. However, you have the option to 'request' revisions or adjustments within one hour after the service has concluded. Any adjustments requested after this one-hour period will be subject to additional charges, which may include travel fees.
